Many of our member brands debuted exquisite new pieces at JCK this year. Here’s the rundown on new items that have retailers excited. Bergio introduced three impressive collections. The Sistina Collection, inspired by Michaelangelo, features handcrafted yellow gold geometric shapes accented with rose & white gold and diamonds. The Rocca Collection, inspired by nature’s terrain, consists of yellow gold pieces accented with a ‘river of white gold and shimmering diamonds’. Change is Good: JCK 2011 Re-Cap
After a year of trepidation over the re-location of JCK, show planners can rest easy. The overall feedback from retailers and brands alike is positive. The Show’s new home at Mandalay Bay proved to be a welcome evolution, from the more luxurious surroundings of the main hotel to the vast, bright and clean convention space. As with any new location, some confusion is to be expected but with so many helping hands on site, from JCK sign holders and touch screens in the Prestige Promenade Pavilion, the Show went off without a hitch. Mosaic Artists Asch/Grossbardt owner and designer Eric Grossbardt grew up with a fondness for jewelry. His father was one of the original partners of Honora Jewelry and Eric himself spent time working for the well known pearl designer. In 1986, with an inherent passion for the industry, Eric sought to pursue his own professional aspirations for the craft of jewelry making and founded Asch/Grossbardt.
