Modern Italian Mastery The Mazza family’s involvement in jewelry began nearly two centuries ago in Italy, as coral harvesters and carvers. At the turn of the century Louis Mazza immigrated to the United States to import gems and carvings and by the 1960’s, his four sons had become part of the family business. William Mazza, his 3rd son, took on an important role, working closely with designers and eventually came to hone his craft and talent, producing a line for Bergdorf Goodman in 1970.
